How to Conquer Your Relationship with Time with Dana Corey

Everyone has a different relationship with time, but one thing is true for all of us: our individual perspective on the time we have can either empower us or hobble us. In this session, Dana will take us through a tour of action-based approaches to use time in ways that work for you instead of against you.

People-Centered Leadership with Cutler Dawson

Cutler Dawson is a retired vice admiral and former CEO of the Navy Federal Credit Union. At 27, Dawson was given charge of his first vessel, which made him the youngest of the commanding officers of the Navy's 550 ships. In the Navy and beyond, he has always put his team members ahead of other priorities. He claims his belief in putting the crew first leads to remarkable organizational performance. Cutler says that if you do right by your team, "they’re going to exceed in anything that you might want them to do." One of the many examples of Dawson's philosophy in action is that during his 14 years at the helm of Navy Federal, he never laid off an employee. Not even during the great recession of 2007-2009, when NFCU shut down an entire division of 90 people. The result of his commitment to -- and investment in -- his employees ultimately led to unprecedented growth, and profitably for NFCU in the following years.

In this talk, Cutler will discuss the specific strategies, methods, and tactics he employs to keep many conflicting priorities in order, and how to really understand and deliver for your crew.

Torian Richardson on Attracting and Developing Inclusive Leaders

Torian Richardson is an investor, culture scientist, and executive coach. In his current role as Global Head of Inclusive Recruiting at NVIDIA, one of his mandates is to help attract and empower a new generation of technology leaders. His challenge is to build a global ecosystem where talented people from all walks of life can be identified, cultivated, and develop to reach their optimal potential.

In this talk, Torian will discuss developing a framework, scale, and lessons he has learned that can be applied to organizations of all types.
